Dr. Jeff Ritterman, a Richmond City Council member, will discuss his city's experience in trying to pass one of the nation's first soda taxes in the November election. Featured panel members Dr. Robert Lustig, Dr. Kirsten Bibbins-Domingo of UCSF and Laura Brainin-Rodriguez of San Francisco Dept. of Public Health will provide clinical, community and policy perspectives regarding the implications of soda policy.
