Hello everyone,

Obesity Prevention in Early Care and Education News Blast:  We’re happy to share with you the November Edition of the 2014 Obesity Prevention in Early Care and Education News Blast. See the attached News Blast for recent ECE news, ECE state highlight, new resources, and research from the early care and education field.



Early Care and Education Networking Call: Wednesday, November 19th! The next CDC/DNPAO monthly Early Care and Education Networking Teleconference call will take place Wednesday from 3-4 pm EST.

The call will feature CDC ECE team staff member Carrie Dooyema who will discuss a set of worksheets developed by CDC. The worksheets can help states and communities assess their ECE partnerships, document their efforts to date, and help create a state profile to guide their ECE work. There will also be time for state-to-state networking. The slide set and worksheets for the call are attached. This call will be recorded and archived.

Also, don’t forget to mark your calendar for our December call which will take place on Wednesday, December 17th. The call topic will be the “Year in Review” so gather your highlights and accomplishments to

share with the ECE network.
