"Empowering Dietitians to Work With Latino Clients" will be held on Thursday, April 14th from 7-8 PM EST. As we all know, the Latino and Hispanic communities are at high risk of developing T2DM, hypertension, and obesity. Because of language barriers, lack of dietitians who speak Spanish and/or work in Latino/Hispanic dominant areas, and socioeconomic barriers, our goal for this webinar is to educate ALL dietitians how they can play a role in reducing the prevalence of these chronic diseases among these groups. The cost is free for members of LAHIDAN and $15 for non-members. This is also a CPEU opportunity.

The link can be found below. Please share with your members and ask them to participate as well (feel free to simply use this email when sending). We feel this topic is essential for all dietitians, since the number of Latino/Hispanic individuals are growing at the fastest annual rate in the US.
