Eating for Autism: One Piece of the Puzzle

Participants will:

  1.  Be able to explain how nutrition affects a child’s behavior and symptoms.
  2.  Understand how gastrointestinal disorders affect children on the Autism Spectrum.
  3.  Understand the most common diet intervention (gluten-free/casein-free).
  4.  Be able to discuss feeding problems associated with Autism Spectrum Disorders.
  5.  Learn which laboratory tests are important.
