CLINICAL DIETITIAN



                St. Barnabas Hospital is a large multi-site community hospital and Designated

                Level 1 Trauma and Stroke Center. We are currently recruiting for a Clinical Dietitian

who will perform patient care nutritional activities including reviewing the

completed screen of the patient nutritional status, assessing lab values and

other information to develop appropriate care plans.  This individual will

monitor patient status, counsel patients and families on special diets,

and nutritional requirements.  Consults with the interdisciplinary team,

i.e. physicians, nurses, social services workers etc.  The Clinical Dietitian

will also participate in departmental quality improvement activities.  Additionally this position will cover outpatient hemodialysis as needed.

Precepts dietetic interns as needed.  Qualified applicants must have a BA/BS

degree in Nutrition.  RD required.  Active member of the American

Dietetic Association.  Minimum one year clinical experience.
