Please join us for the upcoming CUNY SPH Seminar - September 18th  at 4pm, co-sponsored by the Epidemiology/Biostatistics and
Maternal Child Reproductive and Sexual Health Concentration.

The seminar will be held in our East Harlem Building, at 2180 3rd Ave at 119th St (Rm 115b).
A short wine and cheese reception will follow the lecture.

 ABOUT THE SPEAKER:  Lawrence B. Finer, Ph.D., is Director of Domestic Research at the Guttmacher Institute. He supervises the Institute's research portfolio of U.S.-focused projects on pregnancy  and abortion, contraceptive use, family planning services, and adolescent reproductive health. His primary research focus is unintended pregnancy at the national and state level, and he has  published work on premarital sex, the reasons women seek abortions, and the services provided by U.S. family planning clinics. He also serves as a Senior Lecturer in Population and Family Health  at the Columbia School of Public Health.
