Dear CUNY SPH Students,
The Foreign Policy Association will be hosting the Dame Jillian Sackler Distinguished Lecture on Global Health next week, November 7th, 2013. The Foreign Policy Association is committed to developing awareness, understanding, and informed opinion on U.S. foreign policy and global issues.  They are inviting you, as a CUNY SPH student to attend the event free of charge and have the opportunity to hear from Dr. Linda P. Fried, Dean and DeLamar Professor of Public Health at Columbia University's Mailman School of Public Health. Dr. Fried is a leader in the fields of epidemiology and geriatrics. She has dedicated her career to the science of healthy aging, particularly the prevention of frailty and disability, and design of approaches that will strengthen the benefits to all of being an aging society.

Registration will begin at 5:45pm and the lecture will take place from 6:00pm - 8:00pm on Thursday, November 7th at:
