Food Marketing in Schools

Social Media on Kids LiveWell on Air Force Bases

As Tony Ellis described on our call, the Air Force is the first branch of the military to commit to offer restaurant kids’ meal choices that emphasize fruits, vegetables, and whole grains, and limit unhealthy fats, sugars, and sodium through the Kids LiveWell program. Options include whole-wheat English muffin pizza, and a whole-wheat chicken and peach wrap served with honey mustard dressing and a side of fresh grapes.
