MedStar Research Institute is the research arm for MedStar Health, providing scientific, administrative and regulatory support for research programs that complement the key clinical services and teaching programs in all ten hospitals in the MedStar Health system.
The Institute is actively seeking qualified applications for an opportunity for a  Clinical Research Coordinator to support studies in the MedStar Community Clinical Research Center located in Hyattsville, MD.
The Clinical Research Coordinator is responsible for implementing and coordinating research projects.   The incumbent must possess organizational and prioritizing skills with the ability to manage multiple duties with close attention to detail, understand and conceptualize technical information, demonstrate initiative, and communicate needs and requirements effectively.
Minimum Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree in health science or related degree and/or equivalent work experiences such that the objectives of the position are equaled.
Experience: Three years in a clinical setting and two years in clinical research preferred. Experience in the areas of recruitment, enrollment, monitoring, and reporting data on clinical trial participants is highly preferred.
