Please see link below for information on the March for Farmworker Justice, May 15 - June 1 + other opportunities for students, faculty and staff to get involved in the advocacy around the NYS Farmworkers Fair Labor Practices Act (S.1291/A.4762), many in NYC!

March for Farmworker Justice<http://ruralmigrantministry.org/farmworker-march>

Farmworkers in NY are excluded from basic protections such as the right to collective organizing, overtime pay, and a day of rest. Too many still face indignities, such as a lack of bathrooms and clean drinking water in the fields. Now is the time to demand Justice. From May 15th- June 1st we will march 200 miles from Smithtown, Long Island, to the NYS Senate in Albany.
