We are a 28 physician gastroenterology practice (very busy) seeking to employ a Registered Dietitian for the following roles:

1) Obesity management, in particular, ongoing nutritional consultation with patients after they have undergone bariatric interventions.

2) Specialized dietary counseling for patients with celiac disease, crohn's disease, pancreatic insufficiency and other malabsorptive conditions

3) Wellness and Nutrition counseling for patients with chronic abdominal pain of uncertain etiology such as irritable bowel syndrome.

Knowledge of nutritional supplementation and interpretation of laboratory analysis are a must. We are seeking a candidate with positive energy, excellent bedside manner, and the ability to travel to multiple sites.

Our practice is co-owned by general gastroenterologists serving the communities of Passaic county and Bergen county for over 30 years. We also work with specialists in advanced and therapeutic endoscopy, hepatology, pancreatology, esophageal and swallowing disorders. We foresee the RD in a centralized role working among the physicians in the practice to improve patient outcomes and overall patient satisfaction.

This is mostly an outpatient position, however should a candidate have interest in inpatient nutritional services such as managing TPN, accommodations can be made.

For correspondance, candidates can send their CVs to my email at [log in to unmask]<mailto:[log in to unmask]>

Kind Regards

Matthew Grossman, MD
