The topic of the call will be implementing healthier food and beverage environments in hospitals. Participants will hear from Allina Health System about its recent food and beverage policies and systems changes, which include the phase out of sugary beverage sales, removal of deep fat fryers, and a decision to end a long-standing contract with the McDonald's at one of its hospitals.
