TEDx ADVENTURE SPONSORED BY NYCCAH

On Sunday the 8th we will host a TEDx Adventure, A Tale of Two Food Brooklyns.

Brooklyn is home to some of the finest artisanal food in the world. More and better gourmet cuisine has invaded Brooklyn like never before. At the same time, one in four Brooklyn children and one in five Brooklyn residents live in homes that can’t afford enough food. Our NYCCAH<http://nyccah.us2.list-manage.com/track/click?u=f98dc9b62ab881fa8bab218e6&id=74cf73f30b&e=3fd8dc8984> tour will explore this dichotomy. We will begin the tour at a local food pantry where guests can meet and discuss with food-insecure individuals. We will then visit local food shops and restaurants offering some of Brooklyn’s finest grub.

When: 12 p.m.

Where: South Brooklyn Seventh-day Adventist Church, located at 42 Prospect Place, Brooklyn, NY 11217

Cost: Free, though responsible for cost of own food

Please RSVP to [log in to unmask]<mailto:[log in to unmask]> if you plan to attend one, or both, events.
