Dear Students,

The Meg Charlop Memorial Scholarship Fund was established in 2011 at the CUNY School of Public Health to honor Meg's memory and her legacy in the field of Public Health. The scholarship award is presented annually to one matriculated MPH student, chosen from among all CUNY SPH campuses, who has demonstrated an understanding of and commitment to community health.

Meg Charlop was a 2005 graduate of the MPH Program in Community Health (COMHE) at Hunter College. Starting as a community housing organizer in the South Bronx in the 1970's, she worked tirelessly to improve the living environments of the people in the neighborhoods where she worked.

The scholarship is for students who won't be graduating this Spring. It will be awarded at the CUNY Recognition Ceremony, on Monday, June 2nd at 5:30 PM at the Kaye Playhouse, Hunter College, (68 Street and Lexington Ave.).

If you are a continuing matriculated student committed to community health, consider applying for this $2000 scholarship. To apply, please complete the form by clicking on:
