Dear all,

Please join us for a very special screening of A Place at the Table, featuring our very own faculty co-director, Jan Poppendieck.

The NYC Food Policy Center, Hunter's Graduate Student Nutrition Club and the NYC Coalition Against Hunger invite you to a free screening of A Place at the Table, a documentary from the makers of Food, Inc. This film takes a hard look at hunger in America through the eyes of three families without enough food to eat and contextualizes their experiences with commentary from a range of experts, activists, ordinary people and celebrities.

Janet Poppendieck, CUNY Professor Emerita and Josh Ankerberg, Director of Child Nutrition Programs at the NYC Coalition Against Hunger will host a Q&A session following the screening.

Thursday, May 9, 2PM - 4PM
Auditorium
CUNY School of Public Health
