*Social Media Intern*


The New York Food Policy Center at Hunter College is seeking a social media
intern to assist with day-to-day management of all social media
channels. Interns will gain valuable insight into the New York City food
policy and practice community. This is a great opportunity for a student
enrolled in a nutrition program or related field that has interest in food
systems, community health and nutrition, and social media and technology.


Candidates should be detail-oriented, self-motivated, organized, have great
time-management, and communication skills. The ideal candidate will have
strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills; the ability
to respond to urgent situations appropriately by prioritization; and a
familiarity with mainstream social media platforms: Facebook, Twitter,
Instagram, LinkedIn, Tumblr, Snapchat, Google+  - Small
scholarship possible.
