Join us for this one-of-a-kind panel series, in which we sit down with change-makers who have succeeded in merging their passions for human and environmental health into an unconventional career in food and nutrition. In each session, we will highlight 2-3 leaders with a unique background, story, and contribution to the fight for a climate-resilient future. We learn how each of our panelists use food and nutrition as their vehicle for impact. This event is open for all who recognize the power of food for transformational change in both human and environmental health, regardless of experience in the field.

MEET THE PANELISTS FOR THIS MONTH:

Heidi Fritz is a public health dietitian with over 25 years of experience in health promotion, chronic disease prevention programs, and collaborating across teams to promote organizational and systems change. In her current role with Greener By Default, Heidi supports hospitals in menu transformation efforts to reduce carbon and water footprints and meet sustainability, inclusivity, and health goals.

Claire Turner leads Sustainability for The Good Eating Company, where she works to ensure the business is playing an active role in building a more sustainable, just, and resilient food system. She holds an MBA in Sustainability Leadership and Master of Science in Sustainable Food Systems from Prescott College.

Tina Owens is a systems leader within the Organic and Regenerative Agriculture industries. Her background spans two decades within the world’s largest food companies and includes leading transformational shifts in food and agriculture systems as it relates to on-farm profitability, sustainability, financing, clean label and organics, plus unfolding food as medicine and nutrient dense systems.
