Subject: CCNY Public Health Intern Opportunity

I am the Health Promotion Specialist at The City College of New York (CCNY). I am writing because we are currently seeking a MPH student intern to assist us in developing a monitoring and evaluation plan for our student health center and peer health education program and wanted to see if you would be willing to notify your students of this opportunity. This position could also serve as a practicum experience. I have attached the position description below. Please let me know if you would like any additional info regarding the position or our program and I'd be happy to provide that.

Position Description:
Student Health Services at the City College of New York (CCNY) serves the physical and mental health needs of the diverse CCNY student body through clinical and counseling services as well as health promotion activities. We are seeking a public health (MPH or MA) graduate student to assist us in the development and implementation of a monitoring and evaluation plan for our health center and peer health education program. This plan will be used to determine the effectiveness of our programming in order to improve our services. We are looking for a MPH candidate who has experience working in evaluation ideally in health care settings and/or health education. Familiarity with both quantitative and qualitative research methods and data analysis using SPSS is preferred. This is an unpaid position. Interested students should send a cover letter and resume to Teresa Walker, Director of Student Health Services at [log in to unmask]<mailto:[log in to unmask]>.
