Recruitment season is here and Hunter College will be hosting a Bloomberg Aptitude test session on campus. The Bloomberg Aptitude Test (BAT) is a 2-hour, 8-section test of a student's aptitude to work in finance, used by top-tier employers worldwide to recruit students for internships, full time, and entry-level positions. All questions on the BAT evaluate aptitude rather than knowledge so a student does not need to have a background in Finance in order to do well on the test. Students will be placed into commonly encountered workplace scenarios and are evaluated on their ability to identify the best solution to the problem encountered.

After taking the BAT, students are anonymously entered into the Bloomberg Institute Talent Search Database, a tool used by employers to identify candidates for entry-level, full-time and internship roles in business and finance. The Talent Search matches a student’s strengths (as shown by the BAT) with an employer’s needs and is available to 20,000+ Bloomberg terminal firms.

This is a great opportunity for students to obtain an internship or full time position with the 350+ employers that use the BAT to recruit.

Bloomberg is providing all BAT test-takers to a complementary six month subscription to Bloomberg Briefs - Bloomberg's premium industry specific newsletter valued at $2,000 and used by tens of thousands of hedge fund managers, bankers and portfolio managers.
