biology vs chemistry major

Just for your information!  One should NOT register for a major just so one
can get into labs!  If you love biology, do the biology major. If you want
more chemistry, do the biochemistry major.  But you cannot enter a major
just so you get priority enrollment in organic chemistry labs!  This rumor
needs to stop now!  Organic chemistry labs and general chemistry labs are
hard to get into!  Manipulating the system by switching majors is not the
way to accomplish your goals.  Keep surfing e-syms and make sure you can
readjust your entire schedule if need be to accommodate any openings!
