Part-Time Research Assistant position is available in the Behavioral Neurobiology laboratory of Dr. Sarah Leibowitz

at the Rockefeller University



Part-time position:

-We are seeking a student who can commit a least 1 year of their time to carry out behavioral, neurobiological and molecular biology experiments in rats and/or zebrafish.

-This position is ideal for a candidate to gain valuable research experience prior to applying to graduate or medical school.

-This position also offers the opportunity to collaborate on academic abstracts/publications.



Payment:

-We will pay an hourly rate (commensurate with experience) following an unpaid training period.



Requirements:

-This position requires a commitment of at least 3-4 days per week (9am-5pm).

-No experience necessary but prior research experience is ideal.

-Must feel comfortable working with animals.
