Manhattan & Flushing Ophthalmology office is seeking a medical receptionist/assistant. Experience a plus but not a requirement. Must be fluent in English and Korean or English and Chinese.

Job responsibilities include:
Answering phone calls
Coordinating surgeries with the hospital
Screening patients
Calling insurance companies to determine eligibility

The ideal candidate would be someone who is a multi-tasker, meticulous and friendly with patients. We are willing to train the individual with the right personality. This is a fast-paced environment with opportunity to grow and learn.

The candidate will have the opportunity to work closely with an ophthalmologist (retina specialist) and have a lot of patient interaction.
