Thank you for posting it. I noticed that my email address was not on the
posting. Would you be able to post the email address as we are only
receiving resumes via email?

Thank you.

Subject: Position at the Center for Brain Health

Hello,

I work at the Center for Brain Health, an Alzheimer's disease research
laboratory at NYU School of Medicine. We are currently looking to hire at
least 1 undergraduate student with senior standing for either a work-study
or volunteer position. I have attached a job description in this email. If
possible, will you be able to post this through some sort of listserv for
your pre-health students?

Thank you.

The faculty at the Center for Brain Health (CBH) are committed to improving
the understanding the biological causes of structural and functional brain
changes with normal aging, memory loss, and Alzheimer's disease. It is our
mission to develop early diagnostic tests, to complement the great efforts
at developing effective treatments for these conditions. Our focus is to use
brain imaging technologies, biological markers from body fluids, and
clinical information to identify the earliest features that predict future
cognitive impairment in Alzheimer's disease and diabetes and to enable
accurate diagnoses.

We are currently looking to hire a senior for a work-study position as a
Project Assistant in our laboratory. We require a minimum of 10 hours a
week-hours are flexible.

Duties include but are not limited to: administration and scoring of
neuropsychological test batteries to study participants, data collection &
entry, and assistance with administrative tasks. Through this experience,
you will gain a great deal of exposure to the field of neuropsychology and
neuroimaging as well as to statistical analyses. Familiarity with Excel and
SPSS is not required, but recommended. There is a high possibility that upon
completion of the work-study, the position will become a full-time job.

Please respond only if you have work-study compensation. Alternatively,
there are also opportunities for volunteer positions if the individual does
not have work-study funding.
