Let's Get Ready (LGR) is looking for college students to coach high school students from low-income backgrounds. LGR provides its students with free SAT prep, admissions counseling, and other support services needed to gain admission to and graduate from college. Coaching with Let’s Get Ready is a great opportunity for college students interested in education, community building, or community service.



We are looking both Math and Verbal coaches for our Zone site at Long Island City High School (less than 30 minutes from Hunter by subway). The program runs from 4:30PM to 7:30PM on Tuesdays and Thursdays, but coaches can volunteer either one or both days. Coaches at this site will be provided a travel stipend of $150 at the conclusion of the program. No other LGR site provides a travel stipend.
