Interested in joining an innovative health technology startup team that is decreasing health disparities in underserved communities? Praxis Health<http://praxishealth.org/> is a health technology startup that trains lay caregivers in the skills and tools needed to recognize and manage disease through a rapid web-based, interactive platform. Think Codecademy for health skills. Our first program in partnership with Mount Sinai Hospital in NYC trains parents in asthma management skills by utilizing the latest in behavior science, digital pedagogy and innovative clinical algorithms - thus bringing innovation to a space where physical/ outdated solutions are grossly inadequate and not addressing the growing asthma burden.

We are seeking a community health intern with fluency in Spanish to join our team. The community health intern will play a key role in interfacing with low/middle income patients, growing our community outreach efforts, and collecting qualitative data. Since much of our patient population in NYC is Spanish speaking, we are seeking an intern with fluency in Spanish to interface with patients and also lead our translation efforts. To learn more and apply, please visit http://praxishealth.org/about.html.
