Good afternoon,

My name is Lindsay Marshall and I am a dental student at New York University College of Dentistry (NYUCD). I am also the current president of NYU’s chapter of the Student National Dental Association (SNDA). SNDA is a nationally recognized student organization at Canadian and American dental schools founded in 1972. It has had a longstanding goal for over 50 years to promote, aid and support the academic and social environment of minority students. SNDA strives to establish opportunities for its members to develop stronger alliances amongst one another while developing a sense of community, aiding in the advancement of minority students within the field of dentistry.

On May 4th, SNDA will be hosting an event for pre-dental students interested in dentistry. The event will take place at NYU College of Dentistry (345 East 24th Street New York, NY 10001) on Saturday, May 4th, 2024 from 9:30am-2pm. At the event, students will be able to learn more about a career path in dentistry from current NYUCD faculty and dental students as well as learn more about professionalism and improving their personal statements.
