Join us for an engaging discussion with Dr. D. Edmund Anstey. Dr. D. Edmund Anstey is a Cardiology fellow at Columbia University Medical Center-New York Presbyterian Hospital. He received his BA from Washington University in St. Louis where he graduated Summa Cum Laude with a degree in Biology and African & African-American Studies. He earned his medical degree from Harvard Medical School. He went on to complete a residency in Internal Medicine at Brigham and Women’s Hospital an affiliate of Harvard Medical School. Dr. Anstey has also received a Masters in Public Health from Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health. Alongside his fellowship in cardiology, he is actively involved in research and medical education. His research focuses on racial and gender disparities in care as well as hypertension among African Americans.
