Below are the instructions for having Committee and Non-Committee Letters sent to MD and DO schools. Attached are documents further explaining these procedures for Dental, Optometry, Podiatry students.

Please read this VERY carefully. These instructions are very clear and concise. Everything will be done via e-mail, with the exception of payment.

Payments can be submitted directly to room 812 (Check or Money Order ONLY, made out to Hunter College). Payments must be in an envelope that is labeled with your name and either MD or DO. They can be left in the mail box labeled GENTRY in Room 812. YOU DO NOT NEED TO COME TO OFFICE HOURS OR SPEAK TO AN ADVISOR TO SUBMIT PAYMENTS.

Pre-Health Students
Requirements for processing Committee Letters
1.	Only students who have been interviewed by a member of the Pre-Health Advisory Committee will have a committee letter.

2.	We must receive a copy of your AMCAS Letter Request Form and/or a copy of your AACOMAS application with the list of schools you are applying to and your AACOMAS ID number in order to process your letter request.

3.	Your application MUST BE SUBMITTED to AMCAS and/or AACOMAS in order to be processed. If it is not SUBMITTED then your letter CANNOT be sent.

4.	A check or money order for $10 for each application (one for AMCAS and/or one for AACOMAS) made out to HUNTER COLLEGE is required to process your letter request. Please make sure that YOUR NAME is somewhere on the check or money order.

5.	Letters will only be sent AFTER MCAT scores have been reported.

Things to ask yourself before asking an advisor about your letter:
1.	Did I e-mail a copy of my SUBMITTED application?
2.	Are my MCAT scores released and reported?
3.	Have I e-mailed the letter request form?
4.	Have I paid $10 for each application?
5.	Have I given in the list of schools I am applying to?
