The program will help students enhance their skill sets to better handle medical and other demanding healthcare career choices. The aim is to create an intimate learning environment that fosters collaboration and unity in a collegial and nurturing environment. The FAU Post-BAC is designed to give students who have the motivation, desire and commitment the additional skills and experiences that can propel them to become a competitive applicant for medical school. Strong medical school applicants typically have excellent overall and science grade point averages (GPA), sufficiently high scores on their Medical College Admissions Test (MCAT), strong letters of recommendation, and a history of medical volunteerism and research activities.
