As the semester approaches, so does the beginning of another fun-filled Let’s Get Ready program at Long Island City High School (Zone 126), and we would love to have you Coach with us!





Let's Get Ready provides high school students from historically underrepresented backgrounds with free SAT preparation, admissions counseling, and other support services needed to gain admission to and graduate from college. Services are provided by volunteer college students who also serve as role models and mentors. We operate programs throughout the New England and Mid-Atlantic regions.





Coaching with Let’s Get Ready is a great opportunity for college students interested in education, community building, or community service. Coaches dedicate three hours (4:30PM-7:30PM) at least one evening per week (the program will be running from Monday-Thursday) from early February to early May to working with a small group of high school students.
