Paid or Unpaid: This is a Paid position (Range: $40-45k/year)


Position Description:   Great opportunity for pre-med or pre-PA student looking to get clinical, hands-on experience and a resume boost.  Work at the number one orthopedic hospital in the country with a well-known sports medicine surgeon as a medical assistant.  This is a position in a fast-paced office where you will work side-by-side with the surgeon, preparing for clinic, managing patient flow, and following up on organizing patient data and referrals.  Get hands on experience assisting with injections, suture removal, and minor office procedures.  Learn to triage and assist with patient questions and concerns.  There is plenty of opportunity to shadow in the clinic and OR; we encourage learning!  There are also opportunities to potentially get involved with research.  Ideal candidate is very motivated, organized, and hard-working, with an interest in medicine and learning.
