Paid Research Assistant Application

Interns will have the opportunity to:
*         Gain research experience relevant to graduate school, medical school, etc.
*         Earn letters of recommendation
*         Develop skills related to data collection and entry
*         Conduct literature reviews
*         Co-author manuscripts, IRB applications, and conference presentations
*         The research assistant will be primarily responsible for study coordination, but will be assigned other tasks as needed.
*         Requirements: attend a 1 hour weekly lab meeting, Wednesdays at 7:00 am; attend a 1 hour weekly meeting with the PI; complete 10-15 hours of work a week from home

Examples of current research topics include, but are not limited to:
*         Quantitative Bone Graft analysis
*         Natural history of TFCC and partial Scapholunate ligament injuries
*         The role of ultrasound in diagnosing carpal tunnel syndrome
*         Finite element modeling of Scapholunate ligament injuries

We are also interested in applicants with the following additional skills:

*        We are looking for a motivated, detail oriented, hard-working student to gain experience in clinical research. The ideal candidate is someone who can carry out commitments, has good writing and communication skills, and can cooperate and interact effectively with team members.
*         SPSS/STATA/R
