The National Hispanic Medical Association (NHMA) has a program called College Health Scholars Program<http://www.nhmamd.org/programs/nhma-chsp/>, which holds three regional conferences.
This program focuses on helping increase the diversity in the medical/health science fields. We have chosen to focus on five programs: medicine, dentistry, nursing, public health, and graduate sciences (PhD) programs.
These conferences are free for all college students and their parents. It is a great way for students to learn about academic advice, professional/personal development, and financial aid. All of the conferences will have discussion panels as well as graduate school recruiters. These conferences are open to all college students.
