Personal Assistant Job Listing

Seeking exceptionally capable Executive Assistant/Personal Assistant to manage physician’s medical and legal businesses and to perform personal assistant tasks. Great opportunity for seasoned professional and recent graduate alike.
Executive Assistant responsibilities include:
1.     Patent portfolio: Creating business plans for patents and work with lawyers to draft agreements. Assisting with patent sales, i.e. market research and contacting and scheduling meetings with potential buyers.
2.     Legal consulting: Finding and contacting law firms to market services, which include case-consultation and procuring expert witnesses/testimony.
3.     Medical consulting: Researching, creating marketing materials, and preparing presentations and Powerpoint materials.
4.     Continuing medical education: Assisting with the development, marketing, and implementation of courses taught by employer, e.g. writing course materials, creating promotional materials, securing locations, procuring credits. 
5.     Finances: All facets of bookkeeping, i.e. collecting and making payments, collecting and organizing receipts, documentation, etc.
Personal Assistant role includes:
6.     Home office: Maintaining and organizing files, maintaining and updating equipment (e.g. printer, computers, Blackberry), monitoring supply levels, etc.
7.     Investments: Selecting and installing financial software, then monitoring financial investments.
8.     Real estate: Assisting with selling employer’s home(s), requiring real estate market research, listing the properties, etc.
9.     Home tasks: Keeping calendars, organizing family photos, occasional errands, etc.
 
 
Required Skills:
-       Scrupulously organized and detailed.
-       Excellent communication skills with a variety of professionals; good phone manner.
-       Excellent writing skills.
-       Creative and resourceful problem solving skills and the ability to think on one’s feet.
-       Comfortable working independently and learning on the job.
-       Tech-savvy—must be familiar with all Microsoft Office programs and Adobe Acrobat.
-       Trustworthy and discrete with regard to highly sensitive information.
 
Other Details:
Home office is located in The Bronx, NY. Job location will vary between New York City and outer boroughs. Manhattan and Bronx residents preferred, NYC metropolitan area resident required.
