Keck School of Medicine Global Medicine Information Session

Description:

The Keck School of Medicine Global Medicine program aims to answer the urgent, worldwide need for professional training in concepts of global health. The Global Medicine program provides a foundation in medical science that is needed to analyze, understand and solve worldwide health issues. Students have the opportunity to take courses abroad to learn about health policy, healthcare delivery systems and gain clinical experience. It's a great gap year option for pre-med/pre-health students, and can also help those who need to enhance their academics before applying to health professional schools. Many students go on to professional schools after completing this program, with the majority going on to medical school.
