FYI. Particularly of interest to anyone considering MD/PhD programs.

Dear LSAMP Colleagues:

The Indiana University Graduate School would like to make you aware of our
fall recruitment program, "Getting You into IU" for promising minority
students who are underrepresented in doctoral studies in the natural and
physical sciences, mathematics and technology disciplines. The recruitment
event will held Wednesday, October 1 through Saturday, October 4, 2008, at
Indiana University on the Bloomington and Indianapolis campuses.

Invited students will participate in a number of activities designed to
provide insight into life as a graduate student and allow them to make an
informed decision about pursuing their graduate degree at IU. Recruits will
also be paired up with current graduate students from their prospective
graduate program. Indiana University Graduate School will provide all
travel, lodging, and meals for the students selected for this program.

We invite faculty, research scientists and other mentors to nominate
undergraduate or masters-level students wanting to apply to a PhD program
