They can go to www.med.nyu.edu/emergency, click on education, then click on
undergraduates to find the website. Please try that and let me know if it
works.

Hi: I tried the links before I sent this to my listserv and the links don't
work. Where should I direct the students if they need more information?
Thanks!

Hello,

I am writing to let remind you about the Pre-Health Internships available
through the Emergency Department at Bellevue Hospital Center. Below are
links to our programs which provide more information for students and
advisors.

The PAVERs
<http://emergency.webdev.nyumc.org/electives/college-students/pavers>
program is a research methodology volunteer program in which participants
learn about clinical research and medicine through emergency department
observation, assistance with research, and a series of lectures. This
program runs through the Academic year.

The Research
<http://emergency.webdev.nyumc.org/electives/college-students-0> Associate
Internship allows students an opportunity to experience and observe many
different aspects of clinical research. The program is comprised of clinical
research shifts based in the Emergency Department. It offers the committed
student a unique experience, which is intended to furnish a wealth of
knowledge about the numerous options for a career in healthcare. This
program runs all year and requires a 9-12month time commitment by the
interested student.

Project
<http://emergency.med.nyu.edu/electives/college-students/project-healthcare>
Healthcare is a ten week summer internship which offers the committed
student a unique healthcare experience, which is intended to furnish a
wealth of knowledge about the numerous options for a career in healthcare.
Additional rotations in other areas of the hospital as well as participation
in research and health fair projects allow students the exposure they need
to make educated career choices. Furthermore, lectures and weekly meetings
provide students with a chance to discuss medical issues, including the
practical problems that hospitals, patients, and medical staff encounter in
the healthcare system.

If you have any questions, please contact us to discuss the programs and any
other questions or concerns.

Please do not send out this email as your 'Ad' for the programs, as this is
not the email address we use to accept or correspond with applicants.

We are looking forward to hearing from you and your interested students.

Thank you,

Ashley Colucci
