Hello,
This email is for students and alumni that are interested in a career in healthcare. We are looking to hire people that can work as medical scribes in our Emergency Departments. This is an excellent opportunity for anyone that has aspirations to become a healthcare professional. We currently have openings in over 30 hospitals. I would appreciate if you could forward this email to your students.
Emergency Medical Associates (EMA) is a Professional Association focused on providing world class, nationally recognized emergency services to hospitals and health systems. Our reputation and expertise in the field of Emergency Medicine is national in scope. Our goal is to bring extraordinary value to our client hospitals by providing the finest board certified/prepared Emergency Physicians, staffing and support services in the industry.
I manage an entry level position called a Clinical Information Manager (more commonly known as a medical scribe). The CIM works in an Emergency Department to provide clerical/administrative assistance to the ED physician. We prefer candidates who are interested in the healthcare field and have at least 100 hours working or volunteering in healthcare, and an academic background in sciences/pre-med classes.
We advertise on LinkedIn, Indeed, Craigslist, and on your school job board. Many of our current employees strive to go to medical school, PA school, or nursing school.
We currently have full time and part time positions available in Pennsylvania (Lebanon), New Jersey, New York, Rhode Island, and North Carolina. We are looking for current students, alumni, & graduating seniors who will be able to start at any of our locations after the end of the 2016 spring semester.
