I know I want to get into the sciences, but I’ve got so many questions that I’m not even sure where to start. What opportunities are there for me to get some experience? How do I get into a lab? When should I start thinking about grad school? Come to the Ask SciMON Anything panel if you’re interested in research and we will answer your questions or point you to someone who can help you.

SciMON Program Fair (www.hunter.cuny.edu/scimon/events/upcoming?utm_source=newsletter&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=newsletter0913)

With over a dozen programs, SciMON can connect you with research opportunities related to medicine, astronomy, geography, and lots of other fields in which you might be interested. But which ones might be a good fit for you? What do they offer other than research experience? And what will my experience be like? Students and representatives from each of the programs will be on hand to answer your questions and show you how to apply!

Applying to graduate or medical school? One of the key pieces of your application will be your personal statement. This is the essay that will set you apart as an individual!
